Through its application, BREEAM recognises and reflects the value in higher performing assets and aims to inspire and empower change by rewarding and motivating sustainability across the life cycle of master-planning projects, infrastructure and buildings.

‘360 Energy’ provide a full service from ‘Design Stage Pre-Assessments’ through to ‘Post Construction Assessment and Certification’.

In Use

BREEAM In-Use is a scheme used to assess environmental impacts and sustainability issues relating to existing buildings.  It is designed to reduce the running costs of buildings and improve their environmental and sustainability credentials by identifying areas for improvement. The assessment is broken into 3 parts, which are

  • Asset performance
  • Building management performance
  • Organisational effectiveness

You can have all 3 parts assessed or just one or two. As assessors ‘360 energy’ will advise which parts you may wish to focus on and advise you on how the assessment will be carried out. This is an annual assessment and the first year would usually be taken as a base for auctioning improvements going forward.
